Panorama Finals 2006
With this special edition DVD feature you now posses a piece of the rich history of our steelband movement. In this collector's edition DVD we present Panorama Finals 2006 recorded live at the Queen's Park Savannah. This is the first time that the finals or any part of the Natioinal Panorama Championship has been dedicated to commemorate to work of one of the movement's pioneers, Clive Bradley.
For over five decades, the music and talent of Clive Bradley have beaten their own groove into the international steelband movement. From his classic arrangements to innovations in technique like the flipping of the stick – playing the pan with the uncovered ends of the sticks – Bradley's genius is celebrated with style, panache and musical reverence in this unique DVD.
Unlike any acoustic instruments in the world, we have had to privilege and opportunity to know, experience and learn, first-hand, from the actual pioneers in this new musical arena.
We look forward to taking this and many other opportunities to continue supporting and celebrating the outstanding achievements of the men and women of the movement, not only in Trinidad & Tobago, but wherever they have or might be making their mark.
